The Selectboard was informed that an unpermitted highway access had been opened on Pomfret Road in South Pomfret, apparently to transport debris from an active construction site at the intersection of Pomfret Road and Stimets Road in Woodstock. John Peters was assigned to contact the landowner and request that a permit application be submitted for the board’s consideration at the July 2 meeting.
