The full story
Selectboard members reviewed and approved a Right-of-Way Tree Removal request for proposals that targets 16 hazardous trees previously identified by highway staff. The RFP sets clear operational limits: work must be completed within 60 days after award, the contractor must provide 48 hours' notice so affected landowners can be notified, and work hours are restricted to Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bids are due at noon on July 2 and the Selectboard anticipates awarding the work at that evening’s meeting.
