Council approves Resolution 26-010 to apply for catastrophic grant; tree-replacement planning urged

The council voted to approve Resolution 26-010 authorizing application for catastrophic-grant funding to help reimburse costs related to recent tree removal and to support tree-replacement planning. During discussion one councilmember said the grant would "reimburse for a lot of the money that we've already spent for the tree removal," and urged that a comprehensive tree-replacement plan be developed by the parks committee and city staff.
