Grant County committee backs PSAP consolidation grant application with Platteville
The Public Safety Committee approved Resolution 2026‑16 to apply for FY2027 Office of Emergency Communications PSAP grant funding to consolidate dispatch operations with the City of Platteville; the application will be reviewed by Corporation Counsel and sent to the Full County Board.

The Grant County Public Safety Committee on Aug. 10 approved Resolution 2026‑16 to pursue FY2027 Office of Emergency Communications (OEC) PSAP grant funding for a proposed consolidation of Public Safety Answering Point operations with the City of Platteville. The motion to approve the resolution was made by Kathy Kopp and seconded by John Beinborn; the motion carried and the resolution will be forwarded to the Full County Board.
