Planning commission approves Rotary Park inclusive playground application

The Mequon Planning Commission voted to approve a conditional use grant and building‑and‑site plan amendment enabling an all‑inclusive playground and accessible restroom renovations at Rotary Park, located at 4100 West Highland Road. Staff told the commission the design centers on a 12‑foot central play structure with accessible play elements dispersed across the site, perimeter aluminum fencing proposed at six feet, and minor pavilion renovations that remain within the existing footprint.
