ADRC transportation update: state limits electric lifts; FYOD pilot starts June 1
Staff told the Grant County ADRC that the state will not permit purchase of vans with electric lifts (only manual lifts are eligible) and that a Find Your Own Driver (FYOD) pilot will begin June 1, 2026; the ADRC’s contract with Inclusa ends May 31, 2026.

During the May 20 meeting, staff reported that the state will not allow purchase of vans equipped with electric lifts; only vans with manual lifts are eligible for purchase through state programs. The committee is awaiting state approval on a pending vehicle purchase.
