City Clerk Julia Loving updated the Burden City Council on the 2024 Utility Improvements Project, reporting that a preconstruction conference with KDHE, USDA, contractors and engineers took place Dec. 3, 2025. She said USDA Rural Development has approved the awards and that contracts are being drawn.
