Mendon authorizes $12,400 to replace JCB loader bucket

Road Commissioner Chris Baird told the Selectboard that the JCB loader bucket has two large splits near its attachment points and cannot be repaired by welding. After confirming the quoted amount, the Chair restated a motion authorizing $12,400 from the Equipment Replacement Fund for a replacement bucket; the motion was seconded by Sarah Buxton and approved unanimously.
