County says HMGP Stillfield work moving; FEMA panel identifies ~$8.1M possibly eligible
Staff reported movement on the HMGP Stillfield Road effort and told the board that, after appeals and a joint panel review with FEMA, roughly $8.1 million in roadway costs may be eligible for reimbursement from an earlier $27 million potential clawback.

During project reviews, Scott (S3) updated the board on the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) package that includes Stillfield Road and several other roadways. He said two roads were removed from eligibility but the project still includes eight other roadways and that staff continue to work with FEMA on cost-benefit and eligibility questions.
