A lieutenant from the Sheriff's Office appeared before the board to request acceptance of the FY26–27 Drug, Gang and Violent Crime grant from the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission. The lieutenant said the grant covers portions of salaries for six task-force members and has been awarded to the task force in multiple prior years. The board approved acceptance of the grant unanimously.
