La Paz County presented a written information security program on July 20 intended to address 10 specific audit findings and improve protection of county data and networks. The IT presenter described the program as a set of policies, procedures and standards aligned to CIS, NIST, CJIS and HIPAA guidance and asked the board to adopt it so the county could begin enforcing the new measures.
