Board awards Victory Field building-management contract to Open Control Systems for $872,200

Andy presented a recommendation to award a contract for replacing the existing pneumatic temperature control system and four network controllers at Victory Field. He said the bid was issued under "36 1 12 of the Indiana code" and that only one bid was submitted. "Base bid was $849,000 with, a handful of alternates proposed. We are accepting alternate 1 for $21,000 and alternate 2 for $2,200 for a grand total of $872,200," he said, and recommended awarding the contract to Open Control Systems, noting women-owned business participation and minority participation levels.
