The Chartiers Valley Board of School Directors voted 5–4 on June 23 to approve a contract with First Student, effective June 24, 2026, pending solicitor review and subject to any non-material language revisions recommended by District counsel. The motion to approve the contract passed after roll-call voting that recorded five yes votes and four no votes.
