Chief Probation Officer Andria Geigle told commissioners the department wants to trade in its 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a 2026 Chevrolet Traverse to accommodate site visits and trainings in Indianapolis; the purchase is included in the department's 2026 budget. After reviewing multiple local quotes, the department recommended Hubler Chevrolet in Crawfordsville based on safety features, seating and cargo capacity.
