The full story
The Planning Commission (PC) had reviewed a Request for Modification from Alexander Lefever for placement of a 10‑by‑24‑foot shed 10 feet from the rear property line and recommended denial of the most recent request as not meeting prior approved modifications. The PC vote was 4–3 against the request. At the supervisors' meeting, Manager Leo Rosenbauer explained the PC action and described the current measured setback at 13.25 feet from the rear property line (making the requested modification effectively 11.75 feet). Supervisor Ford Stepp moved to approve the modification; Chairperson Lois Rankin seconded. The board approved the modification by unanimous vote.
