The posted agenda for Union City Borough's Aug. 11 public hearing lists a codification amendment that specifically references "Zoning Ordinance #1118." The notice says the codification "will provide for the repeal of certain legislation not included therein; to save from repeal certain other legislation not included therein; and to provide penalties for tampering with the code." This item would reorganize and formalize parts of the borough's zoning code and attach penalties related to code tampering.
