The City Council held a public hearing and then approved the first reading of Ordinance 716-2025, which amends Chapter 106 of the Fonda Code of Ordinances concerning solid-waste collection. The hearing opened at 5:48 p.m.; the mayor closed it at 5:53 p.m. The first reading was approved on a unanimous roll call: Ayes — Hess, Wells, Larsen, Walker and Stauter.
