Committee approves rule docket after agency clarifies rulemaking process
The House Revenue and Taxation committee approved docket 3501022501 after Idaho State Tax Commission staff and the Division of Financial Management clarified rule edits and the three pathways for initiating rulemaking in the state.

Vice Chair Weber presided over the docket hearing for 3501022501 after Chairman Cannon handed the gavel to him. Philip Johnson of the Idaho State Tax Commission told the committee he had emailed clarifications and that items removed from a rule had been moved into sales-and-use tax examples to help small sellers. "I did email those last week... everything that was put in, taken out of that rule was moved to the sales and use tax examples because small sellers," Johnson said.
