The Community and Economic Development Committee voted to designate Aug. 7–14, 2027 as Bronzeville Week, approving resolution file 260829 without objection. Chair Alderman Russell Stapleton II moved the item out of order at Alderman Cobb's request and the committee adopted the resolution by voice vote.
