Board reviews Direct Sellers ordinance samples; no changes yet
Clerk/Treasurer Shawna Atterbury shared sample direct-sellers ordinances from other municipalities and the board discussed permit fees, exemptions for agricultural producers and village-sponsored events (such as Bloomington Buzz), vendor licensing and electricity charges. The board asked trustees to review samples and return with recommendations.

Clerk/Treasurer Shawna Atterbury told the board the village attorney has not yet drafted a revised Direct Sellers Ordinance because several policy questions remain. She distributed sample ordinances from Cassville and Fennimore for comparison.
