The board discussed next steps after receiving a resignation letter from IT contractor/employee Steve Jameli. Staff reported they had asked Jameli whether he would remain as an employee through the onboarding of a managed-service provider; Jameli said he would consider that only at a higher guaranteed-pay proposal (24 hours per week at $95/hour). Staff recommended paying on an as-needed billable basis instead and drafting an RFP for managed IT services.
