Commission grants Allen variance, denies Winslows' request to live in RV
The commission approved a variance allowing an RV/residence at 3350 El Bordeaux Road for David Allen to care for disabled parents, and after extended testimony and procedural steps it denied Charles and Yvonne Winslow's request to continue living in an RV on their property.

The commission considered two separate variance requests that would permit RV or manufactured-home occupancy on county property. The first, a request from David Allen to allow an RV/manufactured home at 3350 El Bordeaux Road so he could care for disabled parents, was supported by planning staff (permitting for well and septic and medical documentation) and was approved by unanimous roll-call vote.
