County manager Chris announced that Luna County is under Stage 2 local fire restrictions effective June 11. He cited county ordinance 84, noting the county is following state forestry recommendations and has suspended burn permits until conditions improve. "Right now, we are following the state red... State forestry's recommendations, for no burn," Chris said.
