The board authorized the chair to sign a contract with Julia Fern (doing business as Upstream Solutions) to serve as interim project coordinator for the Drug Free Communities federal grant while a permanent coordinator is selected. Auditor Lisa Smith said the contract had minor grammar edits and had been reviewed by staff; supervisors approved the authorization by voice vote.
