Coroner Betty Nye reported to the Vernon County Health Department board that the office handled 28 deaths last month, with "17 male, 11 female, 17 cremation, 11 burials," and that most were classified as coroner cases. She said 25 were ruled natural, two were accidental and one remained pending toxicology results. "We had 28 deaths last month, 17 male, 11 female, 17 cremation, 11 burials," Nye said.
