Cody, representing the water department, briefed the committee on several capital items: new sampling-station installations (one in place, another pending at the community center), ongoing work on a leaking valve at a booster site, and planning for an AMI tower. Cody said system flushing and flow testing are scheduled for October and that crews will attempt to direct any temporary puddling into the roadway rather than private property.
