The Commissioners Court adopted a resolution recognizing Sept. 25–Oct. 3, 2026 as Madeline Park Shakespeare Festival Week, praising bilingual and family-oriented programming; festival leaders thanked the court and invited the public to closing weekend events Oct. 2–3.

The court adopted a resolution honoring the Madeline Park Shakespeare Festival’s fifth anniversary and its bilingual, family-friendly programming. Commissioner Stout introduced the resolution and invited festival artistic director Jay Stratton and executive director Sydney Monroe (Gavriel/Ganglia) to speak. Festival representatives described prior productions since 2022 and reminded the public of closing weekend performances Oct. 2–3 with market and preshow entertainment.
