The Ford County Board of County Commissioners on July 24 directed staff to compile detailed data on proposed changes to the county’s employee pay plan to inform the 2026 and 2027 budgets. Gary Thomas, chairman of the commission, moved three separate data‑collection measures that commissioners approved unanimously, and county staff will now prepare the financial and placement analyses requested.
