Library sign quote rejected; board asks for other locations
The Linden Town Board declined a vendor quote for a new Linden Library sign and asked staff and trustees to consider other locations; the request was introduced by Linden Library Director Kathy Watkins and the motion to reject the quote carried.

Town Board President Wade Bennett introduced Kathy Watkins, Linden Library Director, who presented a vendor quote for a new library sign to be purchased with LIT-certified funds and administered by the Linden Library. After discussion, Town Board Member Paul Buckles moved "not to accept quote and look at other locations," which Chasity Surface seconded; the board voted and the motion carried.
