The Allen Park City Council voted to approve Resolution 1 to buy a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) refill station and compressor for $55,929.17 using construction bond funds. Fire Chief O'Reilly told the council the current refill station is more than 20 years old and that limited parts availability prompted the request to secure new equipment now.
