Board approves letter supporting Kellogg Creek Bridge replacement grant request
Commissioners approved a 3–0 motion to send a letter of support for the City of Milwaukee's request for federal funds to replace the Kellogg Creek Bridge; staff said the county is not the grantee and would provide technical advice only.

Trent Wilson, the county's government affairs manager, briefed the board on the City of Milwaukee's Kellogg Creek Bridge Replacement effort and the city's federal funding request. "$75,000,000 is the request," Wilson said, and he noted local contributions listed in the packet, including $11,000,000 from Metro and another $15,000,000 listed in the project summary.
