Wildfire division highlights community outreach, Firewise programs and training for home‑hardening

Division Chief David Scowron told the committee the wildfire division ran 55 community events, expects a wildfire awareness campaign to generate 12 million impressions, and supports 28 Firewise communities — the largest concentration in the state. Staff described training for service providers and plans for prescribed burns and fuels mitigation.
