Committee backs exercising 2027 option for Marshfield shared‑ride transit contract

The Finance, Budget & Personnel Committee on Oct. 6 recommended the common council approve exercising the 2027 option year for the city’s shared‑ride taxi contract with Running Incorporated, which does business as Marshfield Public Transit. Accounting manager Jordan Munger told the committee the packet includes federal and state contract clauses tied to FTA 53011 and Wisconsin’s WI 85.20 operating agreements and that the city packages those documents so the mayor can sign when funding becomes available.
