The Bowie I.S.D. Board of Trustees approved a designation of committed fund balance for district needs during its Aug. 31, 2026 special meeting. Trustee Keith Richey moved to designate the committed fund balance as presented; Trustee Jeff Jackson seconded and the motion carried 5–0.
