Shawna Kerley, administrative assistant to the sheriff's office, presented a proclamation designating Oct. 23–31 as Red Ribbon Week. Councilman Erik Steffens moved to sign the proclamation and Councilman Austin Bretz seconded; the motion carried with unanimous support.
