JustAir presents Wayne County air-quality network data and community dashboard
JustAir reported deployment of 101 fixed air monitors across the county, an historical dashboard of data through May, and high community engagement during a regional smoke event (20,000+ page views, 900+ sign-ups and 12,000 alerts over a five-day period). Commissioners pressed for more neighborhood-level outreach and education.

JustAir CEO Darren Riley and colleagues presented the county's air-quality sensor project. Riley said the project deployed 101 fixed monitors after an engagement and deployment phase beginning in 2024 and highlighted a new historical dashboard that holds data through May. "We deployed the 101 monitors throughout the communities," he said, and described usage spikes during a smoke event when the dashboard recorded tens of thousands of page views and thousands of alerts.
