Counsel Jenna Fonner explained Senate Bill 913 and answered questions from the committee. Senator Rucker offered a conceptual amendment that counsel acknowledged; later in the exchange Senator Rucker withdrew her amendment. Senator Deeds moved that SB 913 be reported to the full Senate with recommendation that it pass and, under its original double committee reference, first be referred to the Committee on Finance; the motion carried by voice vote.
