The Saunders County Planning Commission denied the preliminary plat for the proposed Knuth Subdivision First Addition (Application #1227) during its Jan. 5 meeting, citing unresolved water-supply questions. The motion to deny, made by Wollen and seconded by Sander, stated the denial was "due to insufficient data to validate the quantity of water needed to support the number of homes and potential negative impact to surrounding wells." The vote was 6–0 in favor of denial.
