Chairman reported that elevator renovation work began Jan. 19 and the elevator returned to service on Jan. 23; two early failures were attributed to a valve during break-in and to a blocked door sensor while loading materials. The chairman said technicians adjusted the valve and installed outdoor venting for frozen gas regulators after an ice storm to prevent recurrence.
