Co-chair Nancy Wever recapped action items from the meeting: Nancy Wever to prepare and distribute minutes before the February meeting, send 2025 meeting invitations by December 2024, and circulate information to the Task Force about reauthorization of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA) with a request for CISC sign-on. The JJDPA sign-on materials were scheduled for distribution with a Nov. 8, 2024 deadline; Blane Cook reminded members that any legislative asks for the CISC must be submitted before the CISC meeting on Dec. 11, 2024.
