Task Force hears updates on chronic absenteeism and Project Attend

Tracy Fitz reported that the Status Offense (Objective #2) subcommittee met in September and received a presentation from Cathy Danyluk of the Indiana Department of Education on the state's approach to chronic absenteeism and truancy. The group also heard from Porter County Probation about Project Attend, an attendance-focused intervention, and plans to reconvene later in November to continue work.
