Meriwether County commissioners approved a Section 5311 rural transit agreement with the 3 Rivers Regional Commission that will provide demand‑response public transportation beginning July 1, 2026 and running through June 30, 2027. Under the agreement TRRC will manage daily operations, scheduling, staffing, maintenance and compliance; the county will provide funding and vehicles.
