A standing issue in the MUST meeting was how to distribute the county's fire and EMS local income tax. Moderator explained statutory guidance that allows population and service-territory factors and noted the county can add a third factor if justified. "I mean, currently, the statute says it needs to be a combination of at least those 2," the Moderator said.
