Commissioners decline immediate action on landlocked property dedication (ID 14979)
County staff advised that property ID 14979 appears landlocked and that a dedication to the county would leave the county without access; a motion not to accept was made but received no second and the item was recorded as no action.

County staff and legal counsel briefed commissioners on a request from owner Jill S. Dreyfus Banfield to relinquish ownership of property ID 14979 to the county. Counsel explained the parcel appears to be landlocked inside private fences and that if the county accepted a dedication it would likely have no legal access without initiating condemnation or litigation to establish an easement.
