The committee approved Ordinance No. 1204-2026, an amendment to Section 20 of the pay-band ordinance following a memorandum of understanding with Local 38. Director Cole said the measure consolidates multiple electrical-safety inspector classifications into three classifications (inspector trainee, electrical inspector interim and electrical inspector), eliminates obsolete classifications and adjusts minimum and maximum pay rates.
