The full story
The proposed text amendments add a definition of "tiny home" and distinguish tiny homes from "tiny homes on wheels." The packet reads: "Tiny home means a small dwelling unit under 400 square feet that is permanently installed." It further states that tiny homes on wheels, defined as mobile units under 400 square feet, are treated like recreational vehicles and "are not allowable use in any residential zone within the town" and must be parked in an RV park.
