RJL Solutions: county grant work, TIF options and redevelopment coordination recommended
RJL Solutions said it helped submit several grants for the county and suggested a joint meeting with the redevelopment commission to prioritize blight, housing and use of TIF dollars as debt service sunsets.

Christy Powell of RJL Solutions told commissioners the firm has been preparing several grant applications and advising county departments. Powell said RJL assisted the health department with an injury prevention grant, reviewed the highway department’s CCMG submission, and is working on a $40,000 planning strategy for the Perry County Fairgrounds’ roughly $2,000,000 wish list.
