On Oct. 5 the Craven County Board of Commissioners made a series of routine appointments and reappointments by acclamation. Nominations included Casey Hoffman for the community child protection team; Bobby Willis to the Firemen's Relief Fund board of trustees (Township 3); Dred Mitchell for Cove City Fire reappointment; Justin Goodrich for Township 8; and Johnny Midgett for Vanceboro Fire (Township 1). Each nomination was seconded and the board confirmed the appointments by acclamation.
