Jones County says CHIP housing program has used roughly half its award; three homes underway

Presenter gave an update on the county's CHIP (HOME) rehabilitation program and the status of current projects. "We have spent a little over 0.5 of the money so far, on your existing CHIP program," the presenter said, adding that construction is under way on house number three and that completing the next house will likely exhaust the current award.
