Staff described an urgent sidewalk/apron hazard near a building and said they had discussed a short-term repair plan with a local contractor. "So the reason I'm here today is because I've been talking to Collin Excavating about giving us a proposal to do it," the staff member said, describing a plan to use salvaged steel I‑beams set vertically with plates welded on top as temporary supports.
